A day at the museum...

We went to the Highlands Museum with Riley and Angel on Friday, July 8.  Kirk and Riley had a blast.  Kirk especially LOVED playing the big "pee-no."  He and Riley made beautiful music together!

Kirk and Riley playing in the train.  Kirk is wearing a conductor's hat!

Kirk loves to play in water.  He was naming all the sea creatures in the water table.

Kirk and Riley loved the coal mine tunnel.  Kirk kept saying, "It's dark in here!" every time he went in and came out!

Kirk loved driving the "bus" (ambulance)

Kirk fell in love with this cash register.  He loved pushing the buttons and taking the "moneys" in and out.  Jeremy and I already bought him one for his birthday!

Kirk in the race car (another thing he loves!)

Kirk and Riley driving the boat

Kirk loves train tables, too.  He loves pushing the trains on the tacks.

I think the McDonald's customers are in trouble, because all Kirk and Riley did was shove food in a hole in the counter!

We had a great time!  It was a great trip for a rainy day.  Kirk follows Riley around and he even let her hold his hand a few times.  We ate lunch at Moe's afterwards, and Riley tried to teach Kirk how to drink out of a milk carton with a straw.  He did pretty well, but did spill a little.  Riley loves to teach Kirk new things, and Kirk loves to learn  from her.  He said later in the day, "Mama, Riley is my friend!"  Sweet boy!
